  4. Umm... think I might be swinging towards the legend Dewey Cox! LOL

Anyone who has not yet seen this film, please, please, please, make sure you go out and get it, or rent it, but most all... watch it! I promise you will not be disappointed.

PS. Sense of humour is a must with this film ;-)

  5. Umm.. wouldn't have thought you'd want a Dewey Cox weekend. I can't think of that actor's name. He looks like the guy in Bonnie & Clyde from the 60's- that can't be the same person though. I will pick it up at Blockbuster next time I go.

  6. Dewey Cox is the main character in the 2007 film 'Walk Hard'... it's a complete send up of the music industry, starting from the 50's and going onwards. It's very funny, and executed with ridculous silliness to the point of being accurate! If you have a warped sense of humour then you will love this film ;-)

PS. Don't be put off by the first few scenes, turst me they may not make sense or even seem funny at the start, but they will so much as the film continues.

    Enjoy xxx

    You're love it, promie :-)

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is a 2007 American comedy film, directed by Jake Kasdan and starring John C. Reilly. Judd Apatow, director of The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, and Kasdan co-wrote and produced the film.

The Dewey Cox persona borrows from several prolific figures in rock history: Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jim Morrison, Brian Wilson, Glen Campbell, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Donovan, John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, but mainly Johnny Cash. The plot echoes the storyline of 2005's Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line; Walk Hard is also a parody of the biopic genre as a whole.

  7. Apart from Colin of course, my personal own fav is the absolutely brillant and gifted French actor, not to mention just too dam perfect for his own good... Olivier Martinez. Who of course played the mind weaving twisted villian in S.W.A.T. with Colin.

PS. If you're not familiar with Olivier Martinez as an actor then I well recommend you get, or hire the film 'Unfaithful' also starring Richard Gere, and Diane Lane, by the same director who gave us 'Fatal Attraction' and 'Indecent Proposal'.

'Unfaithful', is a film well worth your time, not only is it a good solid story-line, but it also has the added bonus of a completely indulgent visual experience... if you get my gist! ;-)

  8. That doesn't look like Olivier Martinez (and I love love love him!). He has darker hair.

Rob P. is very pale and Tom Cruise is awful with or without a shirt.

I like the Harry Potter kid, he looks good, but I feel dirty saying that 'cuz he's so young.

Love Johnny Depp but that photo is disappointing.

All in All, I'd take Colin over any of these guys anyday.

  9. When I was younger I had a mega crush on Kiether Sutherland and loved him in the 'Lost Boys'... umm just thinking about it makes me feel young again ; - ) LOL
